You'll often find it said aloud

of those who fit the mark,

they emerged as from a bustling crowd

their heart ignites a spark.

This lady that had been the edge

of the high points of our days

has more than earned an earthly pledge

through the smiles that she has made.

My father's health was such a load

which she bore aloft on high

she could not keep him from death's road

that never meant she did not try.

And as for me and my family

she always makes us feel

as much a part of the natural tree

as true as blood could reveal.
